The races this year are on the following dates:
23rd April 2022 – Snowtrax
19th June 2022 – Southampton
10th July 2022 – Chatham
23rd July 2022 – Bowles
3rd September – Snowtrax
24th September – Alderhost + End of season prize giving
The format for this year’s season remains mostly as before:
- 3 runs – best run to count for U12 and below (stubbies) / best 2 runs for U14 and above (full gates)
- Head to Heads – +1 point for each win
- Club Teams
- Fun Teams
This year’s fun teams will run with a slightly different format to before. Teams will consist of 5 racers. Each racer will compete on a head to head against the same numbered racer in the other team. A win score their team a point for that round and the team with the most points will go through to the next stage. This means that teams with younger inexperienced racers will not be under excess pressure or upset if they ski out etc. which can be a problem with the relay format.
