Thank you for entering the race on Saturday. Entries are now closed. The start list and start list by club will be sent by email to registered addresses.
There is a large cycle event scheduled in the area on Saturday and Sunday. Matchams Lane is part of the route so there will be delays along it and at both ends due to the large number of cyclists. The event start is staggered for cyclists between 07h30 and 11h00. Please allow for delays to your journey. The best route to take is the A338 toward Bournemouth and exit at Blackwater junction (exit for Christchurch – B3073) and approach Snowtrax from that direction.
The provisional timetable for the day is:
- 07:30 Centre Opens
- 08:00 Bibs available to clubs
- 8:30 – 9:30 Open Practice
- 09:45 Individual Timed Runs[1]
- 12:30 Lunch Break
- 13:15 Individual Head-to-Heads
- 16:00 Fun Team Races
- 17:00 Day Prize-giving
- 18:15 onwards End of Season Prize Giving (in the function room).
Whilst there is no formal End of Season party this year the bar and restaurant will be open all evening as usual. IN previous seasons we have experienced delays in food orders from the bar at peak times…please allow time for your food order to arrive.
There will be a BBQ all day and early evening after which the quick, reduced price menu from the bar will be available.
At bib allocation, a sheet will be given to each club representative. This will ask for information regarding the team races and must be returned to the timing hut immediately after the end of the 3 individual timed runs. We need to know:
- whether a club wishes to enter 1 or 2 teams into the Open Club Championship
- who the team members are for the Open Club Championship team(s)
- which racers want to do the Fun Team event
A racer can only enter one or other of the team events.
Parking: Please note ambulance/vehicle access is needed from the car park all the way around to the bottom of the slope, therefore no gazebos/shelters are to be erected in this area, especially in front of the sheds. The space near the Park hut is open for use and all cars are to be parked in the lower car park. There will be a car park attendant on hand to help park cars correctly – please follow the instructions given by car park attendants.
