Salomon Freeski TV visits Scotland.

Salomon Freeski TV came back to the UK this month but this time they visited the Scottish mountains. What perfect timing as Scotland are having their best winter for over 20 years! The crew travelled to different resorts including Cairngorm, Lecht and Nevis range and met up with loads of the locals. It was super challenging weather but the snow was incredible and the crew got well looked after and had a awesome time. The episode won’t be out until the end of the year but here is a sneaky trailer from GROM TV. Type this YOUTUBE link into your browser -http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gC2d3kl-rHM

Woodsy, Becky Hammond, & James Machon at US Open

As some of you may be aware British Big air & slopestyle champ James Woods aka Woodsy and Becky Hammond have been training in the US all winter and they both recently competed in the Aspen US Open. This is one of the biggest freeski events in the world and they both blew all expectations. Woodsy managed to pull out one of his best ever runs in the slopestyle which included his new jump, a switch double cork 1080 and came 5th overall while Becky who has been training pipe all season put down a great run to come 4th overall. Also, a big shout out to James Machon who competed in the halfpipe against some of the biggest names in the world and got a well respected 14th place. These are some of the best results British riders have ever got in such big events and we’re super proud of them!

THE GROM GAMES – Freeski & snowboard competition 17th APRIL, 3pm – 10.30pm

Don’t get this event mixed up with a Grom camp; the Oakley Grom Games is a new Freeski & Snowboard competition for all ages of riders who want to show off their skills to the judges and be in with a chance of winning some of the biggest prizes ever to be given away at a UK snowsports event! Salomon Freeski & Salomon Snowboards are also supporting this event and we have a 50″ Panasonic TV to give away to the winner plus loads more.

There will be jam sessions throughout the day followed by an evening invitational knockout comp which will feature some of the biggest name pro riders.
